Born in 1889 Mexico, Pasqual Pinon lost his farm and moved to Texas where he worked a railroad laborer. While working a tumor grew on the top of his head and he was notices by a sideshow promoter with the Sells-Floto Circus. The promoter either,
- Made a wax face and affixed it to the tumor or
- Made a silver place with the likeness of a face that was implanted under the skin around the tumor
Which really happened appears to be lost to history, what is known is that Pinon toured with the circus for two years as the two headed man. He claimed that the second head had once been mobile, until he had a stroke at the age of twenty.
After two years of successful touring he began to suffer symptoms of dementia while on tour in Detroit. An examination determined the tumor was putting pressure on his brain and the promoter paid for the surgery to remove it. Pinon returned to railroad work. He passed away in 1929.
