In 1954 Robert W. Vergobbi patented the first zippered storage bags. That year a company called Minigrip licensed them with the intent of using them in pencil bags. The product may have stayed there if it wasn't for Robert Lejeune, the 5th grader, who won The National Science Fair by proving that produce will last longer if sealed in zippered storage bags. In 1968 Dow Chemical release Ziploc Storage bags, and the rest is history.
The moral of the story, never assume you have the right answer, someone else may have it in the bag.

Not to mention that listening to children can sometimes weild amazing results -- and that ignoring a kid can cause you to miss out on a great idea.

Do you wear spectacles and a white lab coat when you write this?

Wife, you are right, all too often people do not pay attention to the wisdom that comes from younger generations.
Olivia, yes, I put on glasses, a white lab coat, and stand in front of my chalk board and pretend to teach this lesson to a real class... well, not really, but that would be really cool :)
